Archive.org

Archive.org is a sprawling site with different functions, one of which is pulling together scanned books, magazines, catalogs, and other documents. These are organized in many overlapping ways. This makes it difficult to zero in on a category and search it, then move on to another area without covering the same ground. On the other hand, once you locate it, there are several advantages to a magazine or book being on Archive.org:
  • A choice of several ways to view and read it
  • A very good search feature within the document
  • The ability to download the whole magazine or book
  • Some items scanned by Google, but not available as Full View, are available on Archive.org
There are 2 categories with tool-related publications, and there are links to them on the sidebar on the right. In July 2017 I started the International Tool Catalog Library, with the link on the sidebar.
